We’re bringing you a screening of the engaging and eye-opening documentary Just Eat It: A Food Waste Story in partnership with Summer of the Arts and Love Food, Fight Waste with the City of Iowa City.

From Peg Leg Films, filmmakers and food lovers Jen and Grant dive into the issue of food waste from farm, through retail, all the way to the back of their own fridge. After catching a glimpse of the billions of dollars of good food that is tossed each year in North America, they pledge to quit grocery shopping and survive only on discarded food. Take it all in under the stars with the Table to Table food rescue team. Your registration reserves a space for one vehicle at the drive-in movie or a spot in our general admission lawn seating (please bring your own lawn chair).

When: Gates open at 6:45pm. Please arrive by 7:30pm. Movie begins at dark (around 8:00pm).
