The Logistics & Relationships Coordinator is responsible for the daily implementation of Table to Table’s food rescue program. This position coordinates logistics for food delivery, leads food rescue and distribution data reporting, works with volunteers to complete daily routes, and serves as a liaison between food donor and recipient agencies. The ideal candidate can best contribute to our collaborative culture with an even temper and measured demeanor. We are looking for a thoughtful, strong communicator who enjoys interacting with people of diverse ages and backgrounds.

Employment Status and Work Hours: (Full-Time Salaried)

M-F, sometimes starting as early as 7:30; 2 Saturdays per month and some evenings required.  We offer some schedule flexibility and remote work opportunities. Work is primarily done on site.  

Salary Range: Starting $38,000, commensurate to experience

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain and develop good relationships with food donors and recipient partners
  • Design and facilitate food rescue routes for efficient use of volunteer resources, staff time, equipment, and donor/recipient schedules
  • Document food rescue program processes and training
  • Coordinate daily routes by getting volunteers started and directing their tasks for the day
  • Oversee food resource inventory and food safety compliance
  • Ensure accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual food rescue data reports, and contribute reports to partner stakeholders

Desired Certifications and Experience

  • 1 year experience working with volunteers, leading a team in a work environment, and/or coordinating nonprofit human services
  • Ability to be certified in safe food handling practices
  • Required qualification: valid driver’s license and insurable under organization liability insurance

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Working knowledge of food waste and food insecurity related missions/services. 
  • Highly organized, analytical,  ability to assess, evaluate, revise, plan and implement work within the context of position responsibilities.
  • Functional knowledge and ability to use word processing and database programs, IT-competent – proficient in Microsoft Excel 
  • Demonstrated ability to connect with others and forge strong relationships. Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) with the Executive Director, staff, volunteers, donors and recipient agencies in groups or one-on-one. 
  • Demonstrated ability to support, network with, and motivate volunteers, staff, donors and recipients 
  • Personal attributes such as professionalism, commitment to self-improvement and development, friendliness, tact, enthusiasm, creativity, sensitivity, sense of humor, and honesty.

Operations Coordinator – New Role at T2T!

Position Overview:  Are you looking for something new? We’re seeking to hire a team member who values variety, and is a “do”er who loves what we do, and wants to help us do it even better. The Operations Coordinator provides support and administrative services for food rescue data, facilities, fleet, and program operations. This position will serve as Table to Table’s (T2T) administrator for software, onboarding new staff, and maintaining an organized and friendly work environment.

  • Serves as admin user for Salesforce database – (experience welcomed, training provided for those with aptitude)
  • Responsible for scheduling vehicle maintenance, getting estimates, assessing vendors, scheduling services, tracking fleet status, and predicting future needs
  • Support facility repairs, maintenance, and inspections by fielding maintenance requests, scheduling appointments, and meeting with vendors and inspectors
  • Oversee T2T’s compliance process and reviews with certification entities and partners
  • Provide administrative support for internal/external communications, grants, HR, and technology
  • Work with the program team to provide coverage/facilitate food rescue operations

Desired Experience

  • Experience with a customer relations management or other constituent database software
  • Enthusiastic about a deep dive into T2T’s new software system: a custom version of Salesforce for nonprofits
  • Experience coordinating facilities and/or vehicle maintenance
  • Preferred: valid driver’s license and insurable under organization liability insurance, willingness to drive large vehicles
